Love to reward Big G & MP with morning treats. We have our routine. Up early (before 5am). Outside for potty break. Breakfast. Then after breakfast treat.
After the treat, the puppies head over to their little beds for “morning” naps. And even though I think about joining them, I don’t. That post breakfast time is progress time for me. I’m working on a family video documentary. The storyboard includes taking historical events in our lives, and presenting them through the lens of historical world events. I’m making progress.
Video production should tell a story. A good production takes the viewer on a journey where they are completely engaged in the story. The viewer should see themselves in the video, even when they are not pictured in the events.
The title of this post is Treats/Progress. What I mean by that is that throughout the production process I reward myself with little treats along the way. Treats like celebrating a good section by sharing it with my co-producer. Another reward is to build on the success of a good scene and generate additional scenes to the overall documentary.
I’ll write more about this as I continue to produce this project. I set a date of Feb 9th to finish this one. That’s aggressive. But I need project timelines to accelerate the production process.
More on this, but my next post will shift back to my book GoodNight.
